VisionPlus+ Premium Daily is a daily disposable single vision soft contact lens from the VisionPlus+ range, supplied through Rose Optometry. It is prescribed for short-sightedness (myopia) or long-sightedness (hyperopia). VisionPlus+ lenses are made by CooperVision: this is the same lens as CooperVision MyDay.

- Technology: Aquaform Technology, which CooperVision describes as holding water within the lens material without surface coatings.
- UV: CooperVision states this lens includes UV protection (no UV class is given). UV-absorbing contact lenses are not a substitute for sunglasses, because they do not cover the whole eye and surrounding area.

- Complete Care. Add $8 a month (both eyes) to your subscription and your annual contact lens examination (normally $139) and unlimited acute eye care visits at Rose Optometry are included. Acute visits are covered while your subscription is active. The examination is available after three paid months, or straight away when you pay for the year upfront. Patients travel to us from around New Zealand and overseas.

Do I need a prescription to order VisionPlus+ Premium Daily contact lenses?
Yes. You need a current contact lens prescription. A contact lens prescription is not the same as a glasses prescription: it names the lens brand, base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA), and the powers often differ from your glasses. Order the exact lens and details written on your prescription for each eye.
How much do VisionPlus+ Premium Daily contact lenses cost?
The price for your prescription and quantity is shown above once you choose your options for each eye. Buying more boxes at once lowers the price per box, and the Monthly Subscription is the lowest price per box, 17% less than a single box. Delivery is free.
Can I reuse VisionPlus+ Premium Daily daily lenses?
No. VisionPlus+ Premium Daily is a daily disposable lens. Put in a fresh pair each day and throw them away after one wear. There is no cleaning or storage.
Can I sleep in VisionPlus+ Premium Daily contact lenses?
No. VisionPlus+ Premium Daily is not for overnight wear. Sleeping in soft contact lenses is consistently linked with a higher risk of serious corneal infection than daytime-only wear. As a precaution, take your lenses out before any sleep, including naps.
Can I swim or shower in contact lenses?
It is best avoided. Tap, pool, spa and shower water are not sterile and can carry Acanthamoeba, a rare organism that can cause a severe corneal infection. Case-control studies link this infection with storing lenses in tap water (in rigid lens wearers) and with wearing reusable lenses while swimming or bathing. Findings for showering are mixed. Keep lenses and cases away from water.
